A monthly episodic podcast, looking back at wrestling’s Monday Night War, through the eyes of one’s of it’s biggest influences, Vince Russo. As the head-writer of the WWE, Russo was the man who spearheaded the WWE’s revival against Ted Turner’s WCW, penning some of wrestling’s most famous segments, featuring the likes of Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Rock, The Undertaker, Mick Foley, DX and The Hart Foundation.As the WWE turned the tables and began to convincingly win the ratings war, WCW decided to bring in the man they deemed responsible for WWE’s change of fortunes, and in October 1999, Russo became the head-writer of WCW, writing for the likes Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair, Randy Savage, Rowdy Roddy Piper, Goldberg and the NWOThis podcast is a month by month account of Vince Russo’s time with both companies - from the man himself - beginning with his WWE run from January 1997 and concluding with October 2000, his final month with WCW.
